At LOGOS Psychology, assessment begins with curiosity. Understanding that concerns go beyond individual issues or symptoms, and looking at broader patterns, relationships, behaviour, and everyday functioning. Context matters.

General Mental Health Assessment
Not sure if you need a formal assessment? Explore cognitive, emotional and relational well-being, behavioural concerns, and everyday functioning to get a clearer understanding of current strengths, challenges, strategies and supports. Mental Health assessments clarify and/or specify whether further formal assessment is required, guide treatment planning, practical strategies, and personalized accommodation recommendations for work, high-school/post-secondary, and/or community settings. The assessment includes a clinical interview, standard measurement tools, collateral information and a short psychological report or letter. We Identify individual strengths, areas of difficulty, and factors that may be contributing to current concerns.
Available for adolescents and adults. Total Assessment Time - 3 Hrs. 1 week turn around.

Behavioural & Functional Assessment
Behavioural and functional assessments provide a comprehensive understanding of how emotional, behavioural, developmental, and/or trauma-related concerns affect everyday functioning. We explore areas such as emotional and behavioural regulation, executive functioning, adaptive skills, relationships, school functioning, independence, the impact of trauma or adversity. The assessment includes a clinical interview, standardized measures, collateral information (parent/teacher forms) including previous reports and file review, if applicable. The assessment identifies individual strengths, areas of difficulty, and factors that may be contributing to current concerns. Findings are translated into practical, a short report or letter which outlines individualized recommendations to support functioning at home, school, relationships and within the community.
Available for children and adolescents. Total Assessment Time - 4 Hrs. 2 week turn around.

ADHD Assessment
ADHD assessments take a close look at nerologically divergent executive functioning, and potential co-occurring mental health concerns such as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), developmental, communication/speech issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, conduct and/or personlity issues. For children 8+, adolescence and adults, the assessment process involves a clinical interview, collecting collateral information if applicable, psychometric testing, a 1-hour feedback session, a comprehensive formal report with personalized recommendations and a summary diagnostic report.
Available for children, adolescents and adults. Total Assessment Time - 8 Hrs. 1 month turn around.

Personality Assessment
Longstanding patterns in relationships, emotional regulation, identity, thinking, and behaviour can sometimes form part of a more complex clinical picture. Personality assessment, whether completed independently or integrated with a broader mental health or functional assessment, can provide greater insight into these patterns and how they shape the way a person experiences themselves, others, and their relationships. The goal is to clarify complex or persistent concerns, support differential diagnosis, and develop individualized recommendations for treatment, personal growth, and healthier functioning. The assessment process involves a clinical interview, collecting collateral information if applicable, digital psychometric testing, a comprehensive formal report with personalized recommendations, a summary diagnostic report, and a 1-hour feedback session.
Available for adults. Total Assessment Time - 6-8 Hrs. 1 month turn around.
  • Personality testing is considered on a case-by-case basis because a personality disorder diagnosis can carry significant clinical and personal implications. Therefore, assessment in this area is approached thoughtfully and with careful consideration of developmental history, trauma, mental health, context, differential diagnosis and the purpose and potential application of the diagnosis. Collaboration with psychiatry or other treating professionals may also be recommended when appropriate.
